Obank Case Study

Obank is a mobile banking app offered by Idea Bank that provides users with convenient access to banking services from their smartphones. With Obank, users can easily manage their accounts, transfer funds, pay bills, and much more, all with just a few taps. The app offers a user-friendly interface, allowing customers to track their transactions, check their balances, and receive real-time notifications about account activity.

Additionally, Obank ensures the security of user data through advanced encryption and authentication methods, providing users with peace of mind. Whether you need to make a quick payment or check your account balance on the go, Obank is the perfect solution for all your banking needs.

Task

For our Mobihunter team, working with banking applications is already very familiar; read also our cases on Monobank and Easypay. Obank client came to us with a request to work on a CPA model, where the target action was an issued card.

Stage 2

Week 3 - Week 7

Increase User Base

Goal

Increase the number of cards issued

Task

After the testing stage, we began launching campaigns and developing creatives for Facebook since it was the best traffic source and gave the best results. We promoted the Android application on the UA geo.

We tested a large number of creatives, and on Facebook we had the most conversions from banners, such as:

In the first month of work, we attracted 1,800 new users, with a 5% conversion to card issue. We decided to test other traffic sources.

Stage 3

Week 16 - Week 28

Growth in the Number of New Users and Test New Traffic Sources

Goal

Find new effective traffic sources, increase the number of cards issued

Task

At this stage of work, we planned to test new traffic sources or look for new approaches. Previously, Facebook campaigns brought new users. After much testing and working with creatives, we succeeded with traffic from Google.

Of course, we managed to increase the number of attracted users by threefold, and the percentage of conversion to the issued card also increased from 4% to 12%.

Currently, we continue our cooperation, and we plan to expand to larger volumes.
